The course is set up on an old farm. It's a now a regional park (Lazo Wildlife Park at 976 Sandpines Rd.);
quite ecosensitive and the terrain is partly sandy in places.
It's a very nice piece of property. You should be able to find your way around
it with the map, Being a park, the course is free. Some of the holes have trees for targets, many of the others are 4" diameter poles.
The regional district knows of the course but is turning a blind eye, and the locals seem o.k. with it.
Just watch out for people walking when you're throwing. Try not to scuff up the tee-offs and stick to established trails as much as possible. Ideal for players who need a quiet game. |
